InnoTruck—Technology and ideas for tomorrow

With the InnoTruck initiative, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is promoting dialog on the question of how innovations in the technical and scientific fields should be promoted in order to unfold their greatest possible benefit for society. After all, an idea is not yet an innovation. It needs technologies—and people who research and develop them and ultimately turn them into products or services that have a lasting and positive impact on our society.

See, touch and try out innovations

The centerpiece of the InnoTruck initiative is a double-decker special vehicle with around 100 m² of exhibition space, which offers all visitors an exciting voyage of discovery from research to technology and application to occupational profiles and hands-on activities. In addition, a special exhibition on the upper floor, featuring a multi-monitor installation, focuses on changing themes that provide understandable answers to current questions in research and innovation policy. This year's focus is on hydrogen and nuclear fusion as future energy sources.

Accordingly, the motto is "See, touch and try".
