Accredit yourself for electronica

To receive your free press ticket in advance of the trade fair, you can conveniently accredit online for electronica 2024 and print your ticket in advance at home.

Online accreditation

With the online accreditation, you will receive your free press ticket before the start of the trade fair. Please have ready the documentation you will be using as proof that you are a journalist (PDF or JPG, max. 1 MB). In case your file is bigger than 1 MB, please send it to registrierung@messe-muenchen.de and use the subject 'Accredition electronica 2024'.

Once your information has been verified, you will receive your Print@home ticket by e-mail. You will then need to print out your ticket and bring it with you to the trade fair. Your Print@home ticket will give you free access for the entire duration of the event.

On-site accreditation

You will also have the option of arranging press accreditation once you get to the venue—just head to the Press Center West. Please have ready the documentation you will be using as proof that you are a journalist.

Proof of your journalistic activity

You will need to provide evidence that you are a journalist when applying for accreditation online (by uploading) or at the venue (by showing a hard copy). For more information, please refer to the accreditation guidelines of Messe München.

Proofs can include:

  • A valid official press ID (membership IDs from journalist organizations are not considered press IDs)
  • An imprint that verifies your activity as a correspondent and is no more than 6 months old
  • An article published under your name that is no more than 6 months old (for photographers: Photo credit)

Parking and press tickets

Press parking: Accredited journalists may park free of charge in the parking garage in the west of the site, the 'Parkhaus West'. Parking garage tickets can be exchanged for free exit tickets at the Press Center.

Your press ticket does not entitle you to free use of the Munich public transport network (MVV).

Press Center

Your visit to the fair begins at the Press Center—the first place that journalists from around the world go. Everything that you need for your work is available there. Our team would be pleased to support you!

The electronica Press Center is on the 1st upper level above the West Entrance.
