Manuel Gaertner

Manuel Gärtner has joined STMicroelectronics in 1999 and currently leads the Wide Bandgap and Electrification activities for Automotive Applications as marketing director in the automotive system marketing and application organization. He has built his career in advanced power electronics, with prior experience as a Development Engineer for Smart Power Products and as a Research Engineer at the University of Berlin and the Fraunhofer Institute ISIT in Berlin. He has contributed extensively to the field through more than 50 publications and conference presentations in automotive power electronics, and he holds several patents. He serves on the EEHE Scientific Advisory Board, the SIA Power Train and Electronics Scientific Committee for Power Electronics, and the Technical Program Committee for the CIPS 2026 conference. He also represents STMicroelectronics as Principal Partner and is a member of the Board of Directors of ECPE.
