(P11-10) From 48V Power Domains to Zonal Architectures : Enabling the Next Generation of Automotive Power Distribution

The automotive industry is increasingly adopting 48V power domains to reduce copper losses , support high power loads and improve overall system efficiency. At the same time, the move toward zonal architectures is redefining how power is distributed throughout the vehicle, creating new requirements for efficiency, integration, thermal performance and fault protection. This presentation focuses on how 48V systems and zonal architectures is reshaping automotive power design with a spotlight on MPS' Hybrid buck topology for the 48V to 12V conversion stage to deliver high power density, superior efficiency and enhanced thermal performance.
