The Indian electronics sector is one of the key focus sectors under the 'Make in lndia' mission. Major government initiatives such as Digital India, favorable FDI policies, strong domestic demand and rising manufacturing costs in other major manufacturing economies are increasing the attractiveness of electronics manufacturing in India.

The workshop will outline key insights and strategic takeaways on the Indian electronics and key application industries' outlook and opportunities, along with the intercultural dimensions of doing business in India.

The workshop will be hold in English. The participation is free of charge.

Participants will also learn about the “Make in lndia Mittelstand” program, an Embassy of India initiative, focused on facilitating investments into the Indian market. The program successfully completes three years in September 2018, with 117 German Mittelstand companies onboarded as exclusive members and facilitated investment volume of approx. 878 million EUR.
