Vortragsbeschreibung
This presentation explores the requirements for power, multi-modal sensing technologies and connectivity for next-generation industrial robots and autonomous mobile systems. It highlights how advances in power electronics, intelligent motor control, vision and multiple sensing technologies improve efficiency, increase uptime, design-in safety, and enable more adaptive behavior. We will also present benchmark results from a GaN-enabled QDD actuator for humanoids, demonstrating improvements in torque availability, thermal performance, and overall system cost efficiency. Taking a system-level perspective, this talk shows why designers must move beyond siloed component selection and adopt architectures optimized for total application performance.
