Matthias Ecker

Matthias Ecker is a R&D Director for Integrated Products and Site Leader for NI Unterschleißheim, where he drives system software and architecture strategy focused on seamlessly connecting NI hardware and software across simple and highly complex test environments. With two decades of experience in the test and measurement industry, Matthias has held leadership roles spanning software development, system architecture, and product engineering. He has played a key role in advancing scalable, future-ready technologies that help engineers accelerate innovation and reduce system complexity. His work focuses on system integration, modular architectures, software-defined approaches, and secure, interoperable solutions that enable customers to deploy NI technologies more effectively in real-world applications. Matthias holds a degree in Computer Science from Landshut University of Applied Sciences.
