Dr. Dominik Britz

Dr.-Ing. Dominik Britz is CEO and Managing Partner of SurFunction GmbH, which industrialises Direct Laser Interference Patterning (DLIP) under the ELIPSYS® brand, and Director of the Material Engineering Center Saarland (MECS), a Steinbeis Research Center at Saarland University. A materials scientist by training, he has spent his career bridging microstructure research and industrial application. He was named Fellow of ASM International in 2026.
