Batteries are the heart of every electric car. Each battery consists of several modules that are connected to form a battery pack. In order to ensure maximum efficiency and performance over the entire product lifetime, clever technical solutions for electrical connection of the modules are needed. This presentation gives an insight into the requirements of battery module connections and describes advances in the development of plug-in connectors and how these can be assembled automatically in high volumes.
