The presentation will give a brief overview of technical realisation as well as validation of signal integrity targets at board-to-board connectors. Furthermore, it will be shown how a balanced pin assignment results in high current transmission even in small pitches and with standard contact pins. These two topics will be explained exemplary with the Phoenix Contact FP 0,8 connector series, which is characterized moreover by strong robustness and high tolerance compensation even in place-saving shape.
