Description
With the IoT’s foothold in applications such as sensing, network searches, face or vehicle license plate recognition, smart meters, industrial control, and autonomous driving, there’s a great demand placed on the memory subsystem. This is true for memory solutions ranging from data center and cloud storage. Most Edge-based AI applications involve moving data to and from the cloud for processing and analysis. Finding the right balance of performance, power consumption, security, reliability, high efficiency, and cost for different applications in the memory subsystem is crucial. This presentation will outline the role memory solutions play in successful IIoT applications outlining current and emerging memory technologies that address the challenges designers currently must master.
