Description

Increasing vehicle sensors and data have made centralized processing for perception, fusion and decision-making impractical; particularly for raw radar data. However, recently developed AI perception software can significantly boost the resolution and performance of traditional radar, without requiring additional antennas. That raw radar data from fewer channels can then be fed to a central processor. This presentation will discuss how access to high-quality, AI-enhanced, raw radar data, fused with a variety of sensor types, in combination with highly efficient and powerful central processors, enables ADAS and AV systems to make more intelligent and more accurate driving decisions.
